Two stop signs will be installed on Berryhill Road between Dogwood Drive and Stewart Street in the near future, said Milton Police Chief Tony Tindell. He said the stop signs are an effort to keep drivers from speeding on the residential road, which is a problem for residents along the street.
"This is not a new problem," said Tindell. "It is an ongoing issue."
The police department has issued many speeding tickets on the road for years, but the problem, said Tindell, is the fact drivers utilize the road as a cut through and it's a residential area.
